Flutter is the operational UI for RemoteDesk Windows clients. It sends small loopback control requests to remotedesk-control-service; it never receives or renders remote video frames.

Linux desktop sessions are started through /api/v1/linux/desktop/launch. When full screen is selected, the Rust helper owns the native H.264 and D3D11 presentation path.

The control workspace provides saved Linux hosts, Agent capability probes, native desktop and terminal launch actions, live session diagnostics, and session defaults. Host profiles are stored by the loopback control service; decoded video frames never enter Flutter.

Run the UI during development with:

flutter run -d windows

The local control service must be running on 127.0.0.1:4173, or be available beside the packaged application with its web/index.html directory.
